Thug Boot je p?ti?lenná kapela z m?sta Houston v Texasu a toto je její ?ty?pís?ový debut. Vlastn? banda má na kont? p?tipís?ové demo s názvem Elite Breed (které si m?ľete poslechnout zde http://thugboots.bandcamp.com/) a které má podobný zvuk, jako tato ofiko nahrávka. Za zmínku jeąt? stojí fakt, ľe na kytaru tam hraje holka. Ale zpátky k tomuto debutu. Názvy song? jsou Steel Cap Thunder, Foreign Policy, Brother a Brickwall Battalion. Textov? je to americká klasika, takľe první a poslední song o magorech v t?ľkejch botách, kte?í vytvá?ejí pouli?ní spravedlnost a ?istí ulice od perverzák?, pak je to p?ed?asná smrt jednoho z nás (Brother) anebo o zahrani?ní politice, nad kterou by se m?la vláda zamyslet (Foreign Policy), takľe pro? posílat n?jakou pomoc n?kam daleko za hranice, kdyľ ve vlastní zemi existují rodiny, které nemají co do huby a kdy válka probíhá na ulicích m?st Stát?. Kapela si ur?it? vzala ?ást inspirace pro sv?j zvuk z HC/Oi! kapel a Ryan?v zp?v je hodn? zast?ený a na m?j vkus troąku utopený. Jinak ty dv? kytary jsou ob?as slyąet (t?eba vyhrávka v Foreign Policy) a stejn? tak se ob?as ozve kytaristka (t?eba spole?ný k?i?ený refrén v Brother). Jinak songy jsou relativn? krátké (kolem minuty a p?l), nejdeląí je song Brother, nejkratąí pak poslední Brickwall Battalion, coľ je taky nejv?tąí sypa?ka. Celé je to zabalené do p?kného gatefold obalu s texty a fotkou kapelou. Celý EP je v?nováno n?jakému kámoąovi kapely, který zem?el v roce 2014. Thug Boot is five piece band from Houston in Texas and this is their four song debut. They have already released demo with five songs called Elite Breed (which you may check here http://thugboots.bandcamp.com/) and which has similar sound. I have to mention that there´s a girl on guitar. But back to the music. Song titles are jsou Steel Cap Thunder, Foreign Policy, Brother and Brickwall Battalion. Lyrics are American classic so the first and the last song is about maniacs in steel capped boots who are doing backstreet justice and who are cleaning the streets from pervert scum,, then death of a friend (Brother) or foreign policy which is totally bad (Foreign Policy) so why send help to countries far away when in States are families which have nothing to eat and when the war is in the city streets. The band took their best from HC/Oi! bands and Ryan vocal is little bit drowned and cloaked. Two guitars are playing some solos (like in Foreign Policy) and somewhere you may hear female vocal (like shouted refrain in Brother). Songs are quite short (around about minute and half) and the longest is Brother, the shortest is Brickwall Battalion which is also the fastest one. EP is packed in nice gatefold with lyrics and band photos and it is dedicated to some friend who passed out in 2014. If you like Oi! bands which are not afraid of fast sound and who take inspiration from oldschool HC and if you like pro America songs like from YDL, this is the band for you!
